M.O.P. "Gotta Go"

When M.O.P. left Loud to go to Roc-A-Fella, they put out this sick track entitled "Gotta Go"; it detailed the unhappiness with that situation, and their desire to leave the bullshit behind them. They linked up with the Roc and... dealt with the same bullshit. So, when they were reported to be signing a deal with 50 Cent's G-Unit Records a few years back (around the same time Mobb Deep signed), it looked like we were going to get them Brownsville ballistics back on a major. Then what happened? They put out a slept-on mixtape, a slept-on album, some Rap-Rock hybrid stuff, and well, Lil' Fame has been doing his thing on the boards. G-Unit releasing a M.O.P. record? Nah... so, I am ecstatic to learn that the Mash Out Posse is looking to leave G-Unit.

We all knew 50 didn't know how to market these niggas to the masses, and he showed it. The thing is, who can? The immediate idea would be Koch, which is boasting a pretty stable stable of ill MCs who just don't fit into the corporate Hip-Hop scheme.

Danze, Fame: good luck, my niggas. Hopefully you will find a beautiful spot and put out that FIYAAAAAAAAAAAAH!
