"Slaughterhouse" Live-Blog

Trackstar just reminded me that I downloaded "Slaughterhouse", the new Joe Budden posse cut featuring Joell Ortiz, Nino Bless, Crooked I & Royce Da 5'9, produced by Scram Jones...

00:07: Why is it that these posse cuts always underperform with the beat? Last posse cut with a serious beat was that Cormega jawn... not to say this beat is garbage, it's got that fire for a joint like this but I always want more.

00:37: "I ain't gotta mention the streets on this song/to get in a nigga ass on these beats like a thong... pause". HOLLA!

00:55: Ortiz merked it, without using that "Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaooooo-wa!" shit...

01:28: Nino's best part is that "something like a phenomenon" shit, but then again, who wants to bat after Joell Ortiz!??!

02:16: Damn, Bless still going? "I'm not with that silly nonsense", either.

02:34: Got a DJ Cable/RTD Mini Mix featuring Crooked I's The Block Obama coming.

03:09: Crooked I is going the fuck off. "They old asshole flow, I drop NEW SHIT!"

03:36: Track told me to wait for Royce, and he is killin' this with that...

03:49: "SHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIT!"... I just had to rewind his whole verse!

04:22: "Before I got into my Maino-mode if I smell Yung Berg on ya". Good Lord, Nickle Nine is killin' this!

06:27: I know I'm one of the few Jersey bloggers out there (I think? where y'all at), but I wasn't really wylin' off his verse. That E. Honda line cracked me up, but...

...compared to what Ortiz, Crooked I and Royce did on this? No contest. I think Royce won this one, though. Your thoughts?

(I liked his verse, honestly. Its just that he was on a track with four of my favorite rappers. What can you do?)
