Kia Shine vs. Drake

So, word pon di 'Net is that Kia Shine got some BMI cred for Drake's "Best I Ever Had" (which, by the way, is a song I'm too tired of). Here's Kinfolk on the situation:



Word? Drake stated on his blog yesterday that he "wrote the entire composition in Toronto and I borrowed one line from a Lil Wayne song that he produced the BEAT for. The claims of 25% ownership are false". Rap Radar broke it all down, just in case you're confused. I wonder why Kinfolk took the time to even speak on the claims, knowing that his case would be exposed instantly, on these here internets. And it really doesn't hurt Drake, seeing as "Best I Ever Had" has been inescapable this year.

Why would someone be grabbing a fucking Kia Shine beat CD to begin with is another convo altogether...
