Maxwell "Ascension (Jay Dee Remix)": Been an odd day today; the afternoon stretched into the early evening kind of hectic, but we (wifey and I) ended up where we've been ending up over the last month or so: listening to Maxwell. I had never found the spanish version of "Whenever, Wherever, Whatever" for wifey, so I went Googling for it - and happened upon a dope compilation of unreleased and rare tracks of his, including this Dilla remix of "Ascension" that I'd never heard before. I can't find concrete proof, but I'm hearing that this was put out on a maxi single at some point? Oddly enough, the worlds of music that my wife and I travel in don't always cross, so to have a remix that flips vibes that we both enjoy? I had to share.Cuddle next to your shorty and rock out to this gem.
