RIP Def Jux?

Word from Shabooty is that the rumor of Definitive Jux folding is true; we're just waiting on an official statement. Damn, El-P, what the fuck had happened?

I guess the fuckery surrounding Where Is Danny? should've helped feed the previous rumors of El-P's imprint going under. I imagine there's some money shit going on, I have no idea... but I grew as a man listening to Company Flow, Cannibal Ox, Mr. Lif and many of the other releases on Def Jux. It's a pillar in the temple of Hip-Hop, and although I didn't agree with a lot of the releases later on, the institution still stood for something.

I guess its sad to see something you really connected with go away.

Hopefully El-P will clear the air soon.

EDIT Looks like there's some kind of restructuring going on...
