Mr. Dibbs Inducing Panic EP

The homey Elucid asked me if I had heard this, and didn't even know the shit existed. When I think back to my late 90s/early 00s of underground Hip-Hop listening, Mr. Dibbs was always a named that popped up. Whether it was a random production credits, his work with 1200hobos or his awesome Turntable Scientifics mixtape, I've been all about his brand of turntablism. I gave this EP a chance on my way home from work yesterday, and was in awe. First off, the prank calls are hilarious and fucking random. There's my favorite, "The Warpigs Routine", where the classic Black Sabbath track gets destroyed and rebuilt. Or the awesome Megamix of El-P tracks on Def Jux, just because.

Be on the lookout for his forthcoming Dead World album, which, if it sounds like the scatterbrained soundscapes that are on this EP, should be the fucking shit.
