Black Collar Biz ft. Sunny McKoy - "Issues In My City"

The homey Black Collar Biz picked up one of my favorite Poor Righteous Teachers instrumentals to speak about the nonsense going on in the city of Trenton. Sometimes you need to just open up a window, survey your city, and keep it 100.

Kanye West - "I Love Kanye (T.L.O.Preemix)"

Kind of wish this instrumental was out there by itself, but you have to respect DJ Premier wanting to clothe a naked acapella.

DJ Pound - "Trades"

It's been a few years since I got introduced to (and interviewed) Cali's own DJ Pound. It was because of the Seclusiasis squad that I knew who he was, and it's dope to see that DJ Shadow has put the stamp on his new material.

The third "digital dubplate" from Shadow's Liquid Amber imprint, "Trades" gets all kinds of bubbly futuristic, marrying a hypnotic hip-hop-drenched instrumental with some quick footwork-influenced fills. This one is just thick af. Snag this one, then be on the lookout for his rumored EP for SATURATE. Turn up.

If you have 5011 minutes to spare, check out this interview on Rolling Stone about how the album came to fruition. For now, dig into "The Introduction," a cut produced by House Shoes that highlights why Dilla was a problem on the mic.

DJ Craze and Four Color Zack Are Back With More of Their '2¢'

Back in September of 2015, DJ Craze and Four Color Zack let me drop their mix over on Complex, and earlier this week, we linked back up for round 2. Their mixes aren't just 30+ minute workout sets; they're dropping social commentary in these ill routines, and part 2 takes aim at the growing L.A. DJ problem, Bill Cosby, and those wack dances that creep up in the rap scene. Turntablism fans, turn up to this.

Stream below, and download via Mediafire.

Kanye West - "Fade (Gant-Man Remix)"

I can't front; I was waiting for this. Chicago juke master Gant-Man has been good with these quick Jay Z/Kanye West reworks, and "Fade" is pure soulful house music with a hip-hop swagger to it. Those classic samples were itching for a proper rework, and Gant's done the damn thing with his take.

Lord know show long this will stay on SoundCloud, so grab this DJ tool from Mediafire with the quickness.
