While J-Zone might be more known these days for the drum licks he plays, he's still a dynamo when he has an idea, a pen and a pad. On his latest split 7" release (where he drops a fire song and a fire instrumental), Zone and Chief Chinchilla call "for the return of squeegeemen on the streets of NYC and Joe Clark-baseball bat order in the music biz." Rock that, then peep the bonus instrumental, "I Smell Smoke."
