Johnny Spanish ft. BST Gang "Day In The Life" (prod. by VMan): Do know - a day in The Lip with Johnny Spanish is one thing. A day in the life of khal could involve anything from child vomit to light bills. Spanish and the BST bring you into their cipher, which can range from reefer smoke to gunplay. Success is a slow process, and while I'm not in a space where I can comment on how anyone makes their bread, I just hope no one gets hurts. VMan has laced Spanish with a few jawns (like "Make It Take It"), and I love the laidback cool here. Kick back and plot to this.

Johnny Spanish ft. T-Razor & Jackie Chain "Make It Take It" (prod. by VMan): One cat it’s always good to hear from is the boy Spanish, and I know a lot of you champion the shit Jackie Chain has going on. This is more of that syrupy fawnk that most kush smokers bounce to, with some organs and guitar strumming to really flesh out the back porch flavor of this one. Word from Johnny is he has more ish on the way, but that’s all the info he broke me off with. I’ll be back, I think I caught a contact while listening to this one…Johnny Spanish & T-Razor "I Know"
Johnny Spanish & T-Razor "I Know": In a couple of weeks, Spanish and Razor are dropping 2 The Top, and sent over this track recently. While it’s cool to spit about getting fucked up and how ill you are, you have to take some time to go a bit deeper. Span and T found a proper instrumental and really let loose on this one. One of my favorite tracks from either, mainly because it’s kind of against type, but primarily because it’s just good to hear cats spitting from being inspired. Johnny Spanish "Like That"
Johnny Spanish "Like That" (prod. by DJ Burn One): This shit fits, unlike OJ and those wack black gloves. Burn One has some shit that plays the low-end with a slight twist - has a dope, nighttime cruisin' feel to it, and is a perfect bed for Johnny Spanish's green-drenched bars. Dude is taking residence in the pocket on this one. Oddly enough, this won't be on Spanish's upcoming album. And happy birthday to Johnny Spanish! T-Razor & Johnny Spanish "2 The Top": I flipped a few tracks from this duo a bit ago, and on the eve of T-Razor dropping his The Chronic 2010 mixtape, Spanish hit me off with this last leak. Two intelligent potheads coastin’ over a beat that feels like heaven. I’ve got a thing for ill string loops, though. Johnny Spanish "Shining" (prod. by CHOPS): Here's a cut that Spanish did to some ill CHOPS instrumental for CHOPS' A Lot On My Plate... But I'm Still Hungry, which dropped on Thanksgiving (Steady Bloggin' got it). Spanish hit me with this a minute ago for an untitled compilation I'm trying to drop before the end of 2009.
