I kept it pretty Internets yesterday and trekked up to the #BYOBBBQ2 yesterday. Wild journey, awesome event. Got to meet Internets I'd not met face to face. Shouts to all of the Internets that I finally got to meet In Real Life: Dallas Penn, Combat Jack, A-King, Meka, Che Grand, Donwill, Von Pea, Ben Hameen, 6th Sense, Premium Pete, Matt Raz, Preezy, Ev Boogie, Alex MFM and anyone else I might have forgotten. I had a great time, even if the L train tried to cripple me. And shouts to Internets like Amanda Bassa and ItsTheReal, who I spotted but didn't get to properly speak with. The Combat Jack Show (8/17/2011)

This week's Combat Jack show celebrated their first anniversary, which will be capped off by this Saturday's #BYOBBBQ2 in Bushwick, Brooklyn. This was a three-hour show that I missed the first hour to (!), but guests like Jeff & Eric from ItsTheReal, 88 Keys and (ho-motional ass) Ed Woods and more made the show worthwhile. You already know I've been supporting, and will continue to support, good-ass radio, and that's what the Combat Jack show is all about. Internets!

#BYOBBBQ2 (8/20/2011)

Here's the first flyer for for the #BYOBBBQ2, which is going down in Bushwick, Brooklyn on the 20th of August. I'm going to be going around crazy that day, as that's the same day of the Jersey Fresh Jam 2011, but you know, I need to make both. Dope performances with Action Bronson, Danny Brown, Maffew Ragazino, Jon Connor and more, with cats like Meka and Benhameen - as well as J Period - on the decks. Should be a dope event. The Combat Jack Show (8/03/2011)

This is the first time I've seen downloads for a Combat Jack show be over single digits when I get it. Almost a full year into their PNC Radio stay, CJ, Dallas Penn and the crew drop what could be considered their most listened-to episode, due to DDot Omen and this posting of Watch The Throne listening session audio situation (even though his review is no longer featuring those clips) (although, for whatever reason, he never spoke on the show when he could've). It makes sense - sites like kanyetothe were on the phones HEAVY (to the point where I couldn't even get in), and guys like Mike Dean and UHTN's LowKey all called in to make their points. There's also details on the #BYOBBBQ2, which goes down on the 20th of August in Bushwick, NY, with artists like Action Bronson, Maffew Ragazino, Danny Brown and more announced. Shouts to A King for the super early posting.

The Combat Jack Show (7/27/2011)

While I sit and wish that the Combat Jack show members would just learn to stop worrying and love their differences, check out the latest show - you know, the reason we are all here. Dallas Penn had to see Chocolate Snowflake, so CJ asked Tanya Morgan's Donwill to join in as guest host - although DP eventually joined the broadcast, and told stories of kicking cat ass. They bring the funny, and the knowledge, and I feel like I have to have an intervention to get these niggas doing what we all know they need to be doing. #BYOBBBQ2 - August 20th.
