Being the nerd that I am, I fucks with Hip-Hop and the sounds that influence the genre. 2 Hungry Bros., a pair of producers who dig in crates and use their finds to educate and create some fucking dope music. Dub MD recognized that, and has been working with them on the very project you see here. Just in time for Thanksgiving, 2HB got some delicious treats for your fatboy Hip-Hop hunger pangs, with MCs like 8th W1, P.SO, Fresh Daily, YC The Cynic, Homeboy Sandman, and plenty of chefs for this dinner. Senor Kaos "The Download Song" (prod. by 2 Hungry Bros): Dub MD told me about a possible 2 Hungry Bros. project a while back, and now Open Buffet is on the way just in time for Thanksgiving (aka November 23rd); Kaos spends most of the track breaking down the art of illegally downloading music. I’m not mad at cats being upset for shops like Fat Beats closing, but that’s why I cop what I fuck with. It’s not my fault that the majority of the albums for sale aren’t worth it. If everything sounded like Von Pea’s Pea’s Gotta Have It, I’d buy everything. They don’t, though, so I buy what’s worth it. Anyways, 2HB’s Open Buffet also features cats like Fresh Daily, 8thW1 and more. Hopefully Kaos won’t get mad when I download that project.
2 Hungry Bros & 8thW1 ft. Sleepwalkas "Be On You": Surprised no one else threw this one up; this is a cut taken from No Room For Dessert, the 8thW1 album that's produced by 2HB, which drops on July 27th. Shit's dope. Niggas trying to mack on these females they wanna be on. The beat is as slick as the rhymes are. Proper martini'd up '70s player movements in this one. And you sleepin'. Do NOT sleep on the album release party on the 26th, though!

J.Reneé "Train (Let It Rock)": This week's Back For Seconds leak is a bit different - the sassy seductress up above is J.Reneé, a singer/song-writer/composer from BKLYN that 2 Hungry Bros. are working with. "Train" finds her rockin' over Stardust's "Music Sounds Better With You", and reminds me of the early '90s, when Hip-Hop clubs still played House and whatnot. Don't forget that House and Techno are definitely "urban". Back For Seconds drops 3-15-2010.
