This is a fucking ingenious blend of some of the best parts of "Niggas In Paris", with Dave being handed the instrumental from the beginning and that heavyweight shit at the end and toasting to L.A. over it. Dave Raps "Black Magic": #DAVEDAZE tackles the massive "Taylor Gang" instrumental, and Raps keeps it tough. I've had cats at work talking to me about Illuminati and secret societies, and thought this was going to be more of that, but it's more just Dave kickin' that fly shit over a truly heavy instrumental. That Lex Luger? Probably. Enjoy dat!
Dave Raps "Rich Nixon" (prod. by The Olympicks): #DAVEDAZE has Dave going for his over another Olympicks instrumental. Love these kind of tracks, and Dave doesn't disappoint. There's no games being played on this one at ALL - but like he said, a lot don't really get it. Kind of short, but Raps gets his point across. Not disappointed. Would like to hear Dave go in with this kind of focused fury more often. Day 23.
Dave Raps "Money Luther King": The funny thing about these #DAVEDAZE leaks is that Dave keeps vocaling these instrumentals that I fuck with, but don't like the cats who got 'em. Case in point - "Money Luther King" has Raps coastin' over Big Sean's "Marvin Gaye & Chardonnay", spitting that dumb dumb flavor over it. Some dope shit to wake up to. Only 8 more #DAVEDAZE jawns!?!?
Dave Raps "'96 Shit": This shit right here? Baller as fuck. Shoulda called it "lavish shit", as that Olympicks track is so beautiful. Loads of classic references over that beat is another #DAVEDAZE winner.
Dave Raps "No Cure": #DAVEDAZE part #20 finds Raps going ham over "No Sleep". Beats like this scream "no khal", but his flavor allows me to overcome that. Lucky beat.
Dave Raps "Daredevil":Fuck - 19 days of #DAVEDAZE already? Time is FLYING! Dave tackles Drake's "Dreams Money Can Buy", and again utilizes the "daredevil" theme throughout this one. He goes in a bit harder, which I appreciate. Dude really is talented, and I'm hoping you cats are really keeping watch of this series!
Dave Raps "Pimp Voice" (prod. by Brock Tha Beatsmith): As #DAVEDAZE rolls on, I don't want to say Dave only raps about sex, but I feel like a number of these tracks could have the term "pimp voice" added to them. Over some throwback-sounding original production from Brock, he puts that pimp voice to use. 12 more of these to go, you smell me?

Dave Raps "ZombieStar Hollywood Flesh Eater": #DAVEDAZE goes in on the interesting tip. Dave definitely flipped it on 'em - comparing the conquests to proper zombiefied shit. Awesome, with the fly guitar riff in there as well. Love concepts used properly!
Dave Raps "The Deep End": #DAVEDAZE continues on, with Raps acquiring J. Cole's "Work Out" instrumental and works out without gymnastics references. Some applause. This beat isn't as bad as niggas made it out to be, IMO.
Dave Raps "Less Fight, More Light":#DAVEDAZE is on day 15, and damn, Raps sounds like he got a lil' tipsy before he sorted this track out. Something feels off IMO - like Dave had a few ways to knock this one out, and started out swerving. He cleans it up as the track progresses, though, as real niggas do. Maybe I'm just not a fan of sangin' when Dave is in the booth, LOL.
Dave Raps "Etiquette": I'm not too familiar with a Chiddy Bang, but for the latest #DAVEDAZE, Dave touches down on just that. This some shit to bang round the camp fire.
Dave Raps "Motivated": I'm assuming this is that Kelly Rowland jawn - my mainstream R&B knowledge is lacking in 2011. Sorry, shit that isn't Frank Ocean doesn't stick. Anyways, Dave Raps is at #DAVEDAZE 13, going ham on this one. And by ham I mean, fucking so good the bed smells like bacon. Making love isn't on the menu with this one. Straight up drunken marathon smash. Pussy, nigga.
Dave Raps "How You Want It" (prod. by Justin W): Not sure who Justin W is, but he dropped this instrumental on Dave. Sounds like a chiptune flipped with skittery drums ala Timbaland's "Ayo Technology" instrumental. Shit's fly, though. I fuck with it though. Half expecting Missy to jump out and start crooning. Need more chiptunes in Hip-Hop. Oh, #DAVEDAZE - 18 mo' to go!
