Che Grand with The Lessondary "Star (Pimps In Canada In 3D)"

Che Grand with The Lessondary "Star (Pimps In Canada In 3D)": We previewed a few tracks last week, but now Che links up with Von, Don and Spec on this final leak from The Fixtape Two, which is set to drop tomorrow. I don't like that this blast didn't say what they were spitting over - I'm not smart enough to know if this is an original beat or what. I don't know, but I love it. Got some good red wine in me (word to Andrew J Martin), and this is speaking to me.

Nevermind. Watch for this tomorrow.

Justin Bieber ft. Kanye West & Raekwon "Runaway Love (Remix)"

Justin Bieber ft. Kanye West & Raekwon "Runaway Love (Remix)": Hey, sue me. I'm not mad at this... at all. Let's break it down: 'Ye already jacked RZA's chipmunk Soul samples, why not completely jack "Wu-Tang Clan Ain't Nuttin' Ta Fuck Wit"? Why not jack a bunch of Wu lines? Why not have Raekwon come in and revisit the "Freek'n You (remix)"? Why not have Beibs do whatever he does over this? It's 2010 - in the era of mash-ups, this really isn't that insane... right?

"The Closers (Red Eye, Shabaam Sahdeeq,Thorotracks), Punchline (eMC), El Da Sensei (Artifacts), F.T. (Street Smartz), Phantasm (Cella Dwellas) & Nine. You read that right. All those highly respected MC's on one track. Dotgotit.com & The Closers proudly present The Seventh Inning Stretch. With it's distinct 90's feel, The Seventh Inning Stretch accomplishes what many artists have previously tried and failed at. A throwback vibe with 2010 lyrics and attitude. This track, already considered classic, takes seven heavily decorated MC's and just let's them go for a home run derby on the beat".

Kanye West ft. Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Bon Iver & Nicki Minaj "Monster"

@AlmightyDjko I won't be surprised to wake up to a new GOOD leak on @nahright tomorrowless than a minute ago via ÃœberTwitter

Kanye West ft. Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Bon Iver & Nicki Minaj "Monster" [clean | dirty]: Perfectly described my Saturday morning yesterday afternoon. This is the first 'Ye track to appeal to me in a while, even if that odd intro threw me off. Was that Bon Iver in the intro? I'll never know. I also don't get why Rawse is on here, he doesn't seem to add to much... great to hear Kanye spitting. Hov's verse about niggas he made millionaires sounds like a shot at Beans without naming names. Minaj? Nah, you can keep that multi-personality bullshit, especially if you're going to keep harping on being a new artists who makes a bunch off your shows. This could've been a Ye/Jay jawn and I'd be fine, but it sounds like they have their own project on the way? [stream] DJ Spinna & BBE Soundsystem Present Strange Games & Funky Things Volume 5

The Strange Games… series which began in the summer of 1997, represents the blueprint for modern R&B and rap music. It joins the dots between 70s soul, 80s rare groove and 90s mass market hip hop. This compilation contains a wide variety of styles of tracks, from classic dance-floor fillers as well as lesser known delights. A more accessible diggers delight if you wish with an emphasis on quality track and not just songs worth having for a two second sample.

Conceived by BBE bossman Peter Adarkwah over 14 years ago, this fifth volume is mixed by longterm BBE stalwart, one of the world's best DJ Spinna. Featuring a much more worldly selection than its predecessors - tracks by the multi platinum selling War to Sylvia (Founder of Sugarhill Records) sit side by side with world music underground icons like C.K. Mann and Francisco Aguabella. This volume is the 5th in a series of compilations that appears to have the widest appeal of all BBE’s compilations and proves to be even better by the fact that there is a bonus mixed CD by the one and only DJ Spinna!

02. Sylvia - Sweet Stuff
03. The Ambassadors - I Ain't Got The Love (Of One Girl On My Mind)

The Two. Fifteens "Ragga Zapp.Mania": Prior to the release of Effective When Used After, The 215's have a FreEP on the way entitled "..." dropping next week, and this is the first single from it. It's got a uptempo dub vibe to it, but you could rhyme to this - it's part of the hybrid sound that's creeping into so many different genres, and really indicative of what these Left Coast beatsmiths are about. Plus, they utilized some of my favorite Busta Rhymes vocal snippets ever. Great way to kick off the weekend, seen!?!?

Buff1 Ghosting

Dope project from Buff1 right here: "Ghosting is a project that gives listeners insight on the types of artists and music that inspires Buff1. Giving himself one week to write original material, Buff1 created this free project to be released into the blogosphere. Choosing songs that coincidentally had space for Buff1 to spit, none of the original songs have been edited.

Buff felt there were obvious similarities between the music on this project and one of his favorite Ghostface songs “Holla”; on which Ghost raps over the entire Delfonic’s song “La-La Means I Love You”. Ghosting also happens to be a game where one person follows behind another, mimicking their movements as closely as possible, without being detected.

The Ghostface homage, combined with Buff1 trying his best to follow in the footsteps of the artists who inspired him to write this project, made the title obvious. Lastly, don’t sleep on the exclusive bonus track “Better” produced by Slot-A." You should already know how powerful Ghostface Killah's aura is to the game, so to have a nigga the caliber of Buff1 going ham like this? Definite coppage. $Free.99. Do it!
