O.Smith ft. Crustation "Purple Luv"

O.Smith ft. Crustation "Purple Luv": Something to zone out to while you're, well, zoned out. One of those rock'n'sway jawns to soothe the savage beast. This is taken from O.Smith's forthcoming Office Space mixtape.

O. Smith ft. The Free Radical "40'z and Weed"

O. Smith ft. The Free Radical "40'z and Weed": I actually saw that this track leaked a few weeks back but it slipped my mind in terms of posting. Bangin' beat and dope rhymes, something you should take a listen to if you're looking for something a likkle different.

O Smith "Exams"

O Smith "Exams" (prod. by Bullion): Yes, The Escape Tape is about a week old, but O Smith always has some real life heat up his sleeve; here's some more modern day musings over some wild pianos. Life's a test - your pencil sharp?

DeepSpace Presents The Escape Tape

I've been chatting it up for a bit, and now DeepSpace's The Escape Tape is available for free download. It's really a project that highlights the homey O. Smith, a lyricist who is as witty as he is deep. This tape is not only mixed by the one and only DJ Nominal, but it features my thoughts about the DMV. Mixture of industry beats and fresh shit. RTD approved. Don't sleep.

O. Smith "Lemon"

O. Smith "Lemon": Been a minute since I've posted some material from the DeepSpace crew, but that's definitely going to change. January 2010 will mark the return of DeepSpace with their The Escape Tape, which will be dropping on RTD. O. Smith will be showcasing a lot of his lyrical skill, and this dismantling of Gucci's beat is just a taste. You've been warned.

DeepSpace "We Run This (DMVMix)"

DeepSpace "We Run This (DMVMix)": I'm loving the freestyles and flips of Jay's "Run This Town" more than the track, for some reason. DMV astronauts DeepSpace went off over this, and retained Rihanna's hook, which works well for them. DMV stand UP!

DeepSpace Presents ReLaunch

The DMV is proving they are not to be fucked with, and it seems like every month, there's a new mixtape from a new artist or crew to sink your teeth into. I've briefly covered DeepSpace before, and I dig their sounds. They hooked up the No DJ version of their mixtape FIRST, and will be coming with a mixed version soon. Take a peek at this.
