Crazy collaboration right here - Max B, who's still locked down in Jersey, links up with Isaiah Toothtaker on this EP, produced by The Hood Internet and presented by MishkaNYC. Talk about a mouthful... "Much like the Wonder Twins or Voltron, good things only get better when you bring them together. Over the past few months, we've been slowly but steadily dropping tracks and videos from the highly anticipated album Toothy Wavy, and its finally here.Toothy Wavy is a collaborative project between Machina Muerte head Isaiah Toothtaker, incarcerated rapper Max B, and production duo The Hood Internet. Toothy Wavy brings together all three artists’ unique styles, ending up with something you’re never quite heard before. Toothtaker, in addition to rapping on the tracks and providing hooks, also helmed most of the videos (of which there was one for each track), while The Hood Internet handled all of the beats, and Max B recorded his verses through the prison phone line. The whole project is a lesson in collaboration through difficult borders, and the result is nothing short of awesome. That's the extra special cover art above, designed by Doze. Isaiah Toothtaker "Baby": I’d not peeped Toothtaker’s backstory – I know he rocked over some deep riddims, and had his album drop on Machina Muerte/Alpha Pup, but I had no idea his dementia-soaked bars were the product of multiple felonies over a lifetime that took a turn around 11, being kicked out of home. I guess this is the backstory people expect to read when they question Tyler, The Creator’s content. Oddly enough, the ones questioning the loudest are the ones who ignore both. That really real reality if frightening. Illuminati Thug Mafia is the album, and it’s for those who like a lil’ disturbia in their life.
