Joey Bada$$ ft. Ab-Soul & Rapsody - "STILL"

Seeing that Joey is going on tour with Ab-Soul and Rapsody, it makes sense that tracks like "STILL" are hitting. Kinda wish Rapsody did more than the hook over this Statik Selektah-produced joint (although folks who want to hear more of what Rapsody should have checked out her latestMadRaps, which is produced by Madlib). (Sample of that HERE!) "STILL" shows the mature side of Joey, the side that most folks wish they could see on an album project. Glad that Joey isn't just sitting on his work, though; he's putting out what he think works by any means necessary. Gotta support that, "DARK AURA," and more via Joey's site, all ahead of the release of Lonely At The Top, Joey's latest mixtape, which is out on August 29.

Rapsody Links With Busta Rhymes For "You Should Know"

Always good to hear new material from Rapsody, especially when it's coming from a forthcoming project (Laila's Wisdom), which drops on September 22 via Roc Nation. As she's been linked with 9th Wonder, he cooks up a "Cell Therapy"-flipping instrumental that feels live as hell. The song then takes a turn, throwing Busta Rhymes into the mix over some more sultry riddims.

You can stream this cut down below, or check it out on Apple Music, Spotify, and Tidal.

Rapsody Wants to Make Sure You're Wearing Your 'Crown'

If you're not up on Rapsody, welcome to her future. Most people might be up on her based on her work with 9th Wonder and his Jamla crew, but in 2015 she had a scene-stealing feature on Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly, and over the summer she signed with Jay Z's RocNation. Crown, her new mixtape, is her first release since that signing, and it's highlights just why it's vital that Rapsody's pen is being presented at this time in life.

Featured acts on Crown include Anderson .Paak (returning Rapsody's feature on Malibu's "Without You"), Ab-Soul, and Raphael Saadiq. Crown can be streamed down below, and is available for free via a follow (or for a fee via iTunes). You should also check out Rapsody on the Rap Radar podcast, talking everything from Donald Trump to Lauryn Hill.
