Just saw word that actor Patrick Swayze died today. He was 57. He succumbed to his battle with cancer.You're probably wondering why I'm posting this - I'm a child of the 80s, and movies like Dirty Dancing, The Outsiders, Ghost, Road House, Point Break and many other flicks were staples of my growing up, for good or ill. Point Break was my shit, and my wife and my cousin Mike loved Road House. I went to white middle and high schools, and spent many times at parties trying to avoid Dirty Dancing and Ghost.
Plus, being "ghost like Swayze" is just a classic old school Hip-Hop term.
RIP.
