H.O.P.E. ft. Kent Jamz "Love Lotus": Here's a touching ode to the one like J Dilla. I'm not too up on H.O.P.E. (I know he's from Compton, but can't find a MySpace page), but you have to admire anyone who is dropping cuts like this, that aren't cheesey or generic. Just honest tributes to the greats.And for those not aware, Dilla's would've been 35 years old tomorrow. And the day he passed is this coming Tuesday. Expect to see a heavy dose of Dilla-centric posts between myself and my peers.
