hasHBrown vs. Jett I. Masstyr

Got an e-mail the other day from hasHBrown, aka Jett I. Masstyr, with two albums of his - one that features his rhyming as hasHBrown, and one instrumental project as Jett I. Masstyr. Instead of trying to decide which to post, I figured I'd present a pick from each and have you guys decide for yourselves. Check 'em out:

Grab the full lengths if you're digging:

And for some more insight on dude, check out this recent Houston Press article.

Knowing hasHBrown personally, I can tell anyone who is listening to his work that you are receiving 100% of this young man and more! There is no one I know more passionate about producing, as well-stated by djgongz123, "good music from Houston." As for the instrumental project, it is extremely rare to find a beat that will work both for rhyming over AND as a stand-alone piece. Only the greatest can master such an art, and this young man is going to be a force to be reckoned with in this arena.

Sounds...is a pretty deep album, feel like I know who hash is. I love real rap. And vacation took me away to a musical place I've never been.

Both are great experiences. Houston stand up or sit down and listen hard!

This dude is consistently giving you great music in an age where very few are able to do so. Keep killin' it bro.

Please understand this is not what you have been getting from the industry. This is so much more.
