First off, I love this kind of shit. Surf guitar shit? From like Gidget? I always got into that shit...I'm not sure how many other MCs are up on Surf Guitar Rap, but Tone Tank is set to destroy all ya sand castles with this four-track EP, The King of Surf Guitar Rap. And damnit, it does exactly what it says on the tin. I also love how this isn't like a guitar sample set to some boom-bap... dude really kicks over some vintage loops. It's kind of exciting - makes me wish I could surf and ride out to these.
