Two of my favorite shits, musically, in 2009 were Diddy's Dirty Money crew and blend master Ted Smooth's remix flavor. Seems like the older I get, the more I hark back to the days of my youth - which were filled with Diddy's unabashed jacking of old hits and refixing them into "Hip-Hop Soul", be it with Total or Biggie. Ted Smooth fills the need of the true "blend", the quality remixing that cats like Splash remember from mixtape days of old. I guess it was only a matter of time that Ted would touch some Dirty Money cuts, and boy does he take it back with both of these...Dirty Money x Ted Smooth
