Rob Jay - Millionaire By 30 EP

I've been championing Rob Jay's work over the last year. Or two. Days flow into each other, sorry. This shit right here? DJ Ammbush and Rob linking up, knocking out an EP together? Awesome. Rob's got the knack for telling great stories, and shows off his humorous side when needed (check the nod to Purple Rain on this one). I'd go in for eons trying to make you listen, but really, just listen to it.

EDIT I also uploaded a version with 320kbps MP3s, as opposed to the .wavs, which made their link like 300MB+. Sorry!

Rob Jay ft. John Dew "Wise Man"

Rob Jay drops a track that plays like an autobiography of how I see him. He's one of those "wise beyond his years" niggas, and this track shows that, effortlessly. Millionaire Before 30 drops on the 24th of October, and typing that, realizing I hit 30 recently, fucks me up - I'm so far from that number in my bank account. Oh well, still have millions of memories fucking with this music, and Jay is a big part of what I'm coasting to currently. Enjoy dat.

Rob Jay "My Past Life"

As we continue to inundate you lot with that New Houston flavor, here's a jawn from Rob Jay, taken from his forthcoming Millionaire Before 30 EP, which I will say I've had the opportunity to sample. It's produced entirely by Ammbush from the Drums & Ammo / SWTBRDS camp, and will be a real treat for you fans who like a little substance with your entertainment. Rob's first leak features him imagining himself of a Harlem kid from the 1960s. He's ill with the visuals he paints with his rhymes, building a moving portrait of the problems our community had to endure to get to where we are now. And you niggas still wanna party ya life away. Pick up a dream and follow it. Millionaire Before 30 drops October 24th.

DaVinci ft. ST 2 Letta "Get Her High"

DaVinci ft. ST 2 Letta "Get Her High" (prod. by Lunice): Random. Lunice has been getting love, randomly, in varying spots on the Internets, but I didn’t realize this Montreal producer was doing Hip-Hop – this is actually his 2nd credit inna Hip-Hop raincoat. His beat is fly, kind of subdued – almost as if it’s waiting to go HAM if someone says “go”, but the lowkey feel works for the bedroom eyes that DaVinci and ST have in their raps. Not too much of a fan of what’s going on here, lyrically, but when you’re face down in some muff, drunk off pussy juice and Henny, you’re not really hearing much music, right? Get it? Because her thick thighs are around your ears!
