[preview] Friske & Perpetuum "Step Up (Zardonic Remix)"

Dieselboy has lined up a remix EP of cuts from his Substance D compilation that dropped a four years back (here's my four-year old review of it). This tune from Friske and Perpetuum (WHATTUP PERP) was probably my favorite cut from the entire project, and it looks like one of DOA's success stories, Zardonic, was given the reigns to remix this one. The original had the best Milk D sample in a DnB tune, and Zardonic made sure to keep that in tact. He doesn't stray from the upfront vibe of the original, but he adds a lot of meat and preservatives to this one. Still a funky number. This one is out now on Beatport (as an exclusive, I believe), so go grab that.

For real? Don't cosign this, cuzzo. You know exactly why we never wanted this remix released. It's not even good for a drum and bass tune.
