Damn. So I just found out that
Julius Carry III, the man who will forever live in infamy as "
Sho'nuff, the Shogun of Harlem" from
The Last Dragon,
died earlier this week after a bout with pancreatic cancer. He was 56. And I am crushed. I grew up on that movie, and his "KISS MY CONVERSE" and other lines were cinematic gold when I was a shorty. I never was a fan of Bruce Leeroy, always wanted that red glow. Damn. I need to go buy this flick, now.
Bonus Beats: Rafi hit me with
this link back in April, and I am glad I found it again. Such a timewarp. I'm truly devastated.
EDIT: I see
Entity Starr posted about this, and included
a pic from Taimak's MySpace blog showing love to Mr. Carry.
