Trends "People Get Ready": I've always been leery of the term "electronica" - I never liked the way it sounded, and the fact that its such a blanket term really put me off. So when I got the e-mail about this track being a Rap/Electronica hybrid, I wasn't too thrilled. Diggin' into it, though, this isn't bad. Taken from Trends' The Electronic Tape, which drops on July 28th, and should be a nice mixture of Hip-Hop over electronic beats. What say you?
