Beanie Sigel ft. 50 Cent "I Go Off" [clean \ dirty]: Even if Beans recycles some verses for this one, I still ride with it. Thing is, Beans doesn't really win off this one. Yes, we know he can spit - he been doing that for years. Grimey shit is nothing new to him. But he gains nothing but this. He essentially burns the Hov bridge (although you could argue that Hov did that already), but Fif is the only one to gain. He comes up with a catchy hook so we know he can do the damn thing, and he gets the last word. His signature darts at the end of the track are vintage 50, but its more about him vs. Jay than Mac vs. Jay. It's almost as if 50 had been saving these remarks until the right moment - and now he has it. Plus, this only bolsters the promo steam engine that is Before I Self Destruct...End of the day, I just hope we get to hear a sick Sigel album soon... I'm just not sure him aligning with 50 Cent to put it out is the right move. Shouts to Miss Info for the CDQs.
