Will LOST suffer from Writer's Strike?

EW has reported that both Damon Lindeloff and Carlton Cuse, pulled a Tina Fey outside of Disney's studios in California. Now I was kind of chuckling at this whole situation, because the studios are so quick to curb piracy, because pirates take food out of the working man's mouths. What do they do? They hunkered down, figured out how to keep their defenses up and stave off any profit sharing until absolutely necessary. Ayo, they need to cut the shit. Season 4 of LOST is apparently only half done (8 episodes in the can, as per the above EW report), and who knows how long we'd have to wait if this strike was still poppin' off. What's good? I mean, if you studio heads make no ends off of digital sales, then the writers won't either; if you do, cut them a percentage, and call it a day. The writers are the backbone of so much of the entertainment industry, you'd think this was a no-brainer.

We here at rock the dub wish the writer's get what they deserve, and until the strike is over, I say we loot and pillage! Burn laptops in effigy! Set paper plants on fire! Steal DVDs and leak them on the interne- err, on second thought, why don't they just hurry up so we don't have to suffer through a bunch of bullshit reality TV shows like So You Think You Want To Be A Fat Band Member?

Fix up, bigwigs.
