Eve "Me N My (Up N Da Club)" (prod. by Salaam Remi & Benga): I was totally prepared to ignore this track. Eve hasn't excited me... ever. Then I saw Mista Jam tweet about dropping this on the radio soon, and I said "wait, Benga produced this!?!?!?"; Benga's Diary of An Afro Warrior was my shit, and I KNOW his contribution has been used previously, if nowhere but on that very disc! Hip-Hop has found another convert, eh? What'd Salaam Remi do to this, exactly - sounds just like the original Benga jawn... I'm at work, can't confirm WTF the original is, but when I get home I'll update.MP3 via TSS.
Bonus Beats Benga "E Trips"... someone let me know what Salaam Remi did with this track, if anything? Maybe I'm the only one who cares, or noticed (well, aside from Dart Adams), but it perplexes me. Can Benga not stand alone, or did Remi really throw some magic in there?
