Gyptian "Hold Yuh (Shy FX & Benny Page Remix) [radio rip]": I know, I know - I've talked a lot of shit on the original "Hold Yuh", but I can't help it. Ever since Hot 97 picked up on it earlier this summer, some version of it has played on morning radio. Especially when Nicki Minaj jumped on it - it was dwindling, then got thrown back in like it just came out - Cipha Sounds used to do mixes of like 3 or 4 different versions, including blends with whatever popular Drake tune was out over it! However, DSB's own Shy FX and Benny Page cooked up a DnB remix in their style, and I can rock to this. They know how to transfer that dancehall energy inna DnB meltdown. Drops nasty, and might make me listen to Gyptian "get butterflies" throughout the Fall...Via MistaJam's Saturday Soundclash (18/09/2010).
