MiLKMEN ft. Dutch New York "Find Your Love (Remix)": Word? Actual singing? Glad to hear the MiLK not using Auto-Tune - no diss on it, I had a feeling they could really sing. Kind of surprised Dutch threw a lil' croon on this one, too! Three ill NY niggas having fun over the instrumental for Drake's latest? Win-win...win.

Watch out for Audacity, which is due out on May 25th and features beats from Kev, Oh No and DJ Vadim.

Octopus Jones "Ray Charles" |
Octopus Jones "Ray Charles": Here's a track from Octopus Jones 8, an instrumental album (or an "album with no words") from Khris P of Kream Team. This has an ill Electro vibe to it - very catchy with the synth, but its still got its own solemn vibe to it.

Here's a 20-minute sampler tape of Project Mayhem cuts, freestyles and a few jawns from Legsclusives that L.E.G.A.C.Y. and 9th Wonder cooked up to give to a North Carolina-based clothing company who was interested in working with Legs back in 2003. The plans ultimately bore no fruit, but the tape has been recovered from the vaults, and it's here for you.

Drake ft. Kanye West & Lil' Wayne "Forever (DviousMindZ Remix)" |
Drake ft. Kanye West & Lil' Wayne "Forever (DviousMindZ Remix)": D has been making some sick remixes as of late, and sent this one out today. Lovin' the hi-hat/skittery drum combo on this one. Makes it slick... slick enough to not miss Eminem!
D says "I love the original, thought I'd put my own twist on it. Hope y'all enjoy it. Feedback is always appreciated at www.twitter.com/dviousmindz, www.myspace.com/dviousmindz or whatsforbreakfastmusic@gmail.com. Thanks for your time, thanks for listening".

Mr. Dibbs Inducing Panic EP |
The homey Elucid asked me if I had heard this, and didn't even know the shit existed. When I think back to my late 90s/early 00s of underground Hip-Hop listening, Mr. Dibbs was always a named that popped up. Whether it was a random production credits, his work with 1200hobos or his awesome Turntable Scientifics mixtape, I've been all about his brand of turntablism. I gave this EP a chance on my way home from work yesterday, and was in awe. First off, the prank calls are hilarious and fucking random. There's my favorite, "The Warpigs Routine", where the classic Black Sabbath track gets destroyed and rebuilt. Or the awesome Megamix of El-P tracks on Def Jux, just because.
Be on the lookout for his forthcoming Dead World album, which, if it sounds like the scatterbrained soundscapes that are on this EP, should be the fucking shit.

BP & ODDS Vacancy |
I've been neglecting Jazz a lot lately, so of course the "boom-bap novelists" of @BPandODDS cook up an EP lik Vacancy as their ode to Jazz: "The soundscape summons BP's jazz stacks while each song is aptly titled after timeless jazz albums. VACANCY gives rise to the idea of being uninhibited while opening doors to new listeners".

Zumo Kollie ft. LJC "The Arrival" |
Zumo Kollie ft. LJC "The Arrival" (prod. by D-Man): I hate not being up on shit. Remember Potholes' Ocean State Sampler, bigging up the Providence, RI Hip-Hop scene? @ZumoKollie was on that. That dropped in December 2009, but in November 2009, Zumo dropped his Idiot Savant project, which is just as ill - if not iller. This cut is dope, as its kind of like the introductory track for a nigga who just realized what his art is worth, and where he can go with it. I'm not mad at this at ALL, especially with D-Man on the boards. Grab the full project, if you're feelin' it. You won't be disappointed.

The Herbliaser Herbal Tonic Cover+Tracklist |
One of my favorite groups, The Herbaliser, have been doing their brand of Hip-Hop/Funk/Jazz/Film score-inspired tracks for a while, and I've been on the journey. Fifteen years. Ninja Tune took notice and have sorted out this Best Of disc, featuring 15 tracks of fury, including DJ Food's "Mrs. Chombee Takes The Plunge" remix, their Jean Grae featured tracks, "Starlight" with Roots Manuva (a personal favorite), "The Missing Suitcase", the MF DOOM-featured "It Ain't Nuttin'"and a previously-unreleased track, "March Of The Death Things". This drops on June 14th in the UK, and June 29th in North America. Hit the jump for the tracklist.
