Before peeping this post over at Sucker Free, I had no idea who the fuck Rocko Da Don was. With that name, one can pretty much garner all you need to know about his persona, his style, etc., which is good for marketing, right? Then, I saw this quote, again from that Sucker Free post:“At first I was more cash motivated; just tryin’ to keep the dollars coming in. I knew I had what it takes because all that rap is [is having] swagger and just making words rhyme and tell stories and things of that nature. So, I already knew I had it what it took. I had to make up my mind if that was something I wanted to do. So, initially it was all cash motivated, but then once I really got into it, I started liking it. I started kind of digging it.”
Now, I applaud Sucker Free for taking the high road and not raking this nigga over the coals. That's not me. So pardon my French, excuse this rant, blah blah...
Nigga, get the fuck out of Hip-Hop. Seriously. Rap is nothing but having swagger, making words rhyme and telling stories? Are you fucking kidding me? Not only have you just shitted on modern day legends like Jay-Z, Eminem, Nas, the Wu-Tang Clan, Kanye West and a plethora of others, but you have shitted on the whole legacy and history of this art form. Rap and Hip-Hop is more than swag and spit, it's a way of life. It's a way out of the fuckin' ghetto/trap/grind for countless people (not just niggas, but Ricans, White cats, Asians, etc.); it's been a trendsetter in the world of fashion and in the music industry itself. It can be both "the Black CNN" as well as that music to charge you up. Ignorant ass niggas like you are the reason the White People still think of us as coons and porch monkeys, jiggaboos and niggers. Niggas like you are the problem, not the solution. Niggas like you are the reason this fucking industry is decaying: instead of really trying to provide a voice and use your celebrity (or what little you have) to help others in bad situations come to a head, you want to stick your dick in the scene, fuck it for some cash, buy some new jeans and be the fuck out. Nigga, fuck you. Get a life. Go be a runway model and show them prissy bitches how mean your swag is, fucker. Fuck you and the remedial English class you funked out of, fucker. "Umma Do Me", eh? Do us all a favor and die.
