Che Grand with The Lessondary "Star (Pimps In Canada In 3D)": We previewed a few tracks last week, but now Che links up with Von, Don and Spec on this final leak from The Fixtape Two, which is set to drop tomorrow. I don't like that this blast didn't say what they were spitting over - I'm not smart enough to know if this is an original beat or what. I don't know, but I love it. Got some good red wine in me (word to Andrew J Martin), and this is speaking to me.
Nevermind. Watch for this tomorrow.
Good to see Black EL getting the props he deserves, and on this Durkin-produced album is so necessary right now. Glad there's only a few features (Outasight, Jelani, Jon Hope), so EL can really flex his muscle and showcase how dope of a union he and Durk are. Hit the jump.
This one's been a long time coming- don't sleep on KingPen Slim at all. Another DMV representer dropping another street/Internets album on your asses today, via DJ Booth. Shouts to Langston for the continuous updates on this niggra and his project. Hit the jump.
Mic Wilson "Follow Along [snippet]": Mic's Phase Two has a release date: October 10th. Lots of shit goes down near my birthday, and this project is one of the shits. Only this isn't shit in the stinky foul sense - this shit is DOPE! Nice 2 minute preview - love the wailing in the beat. "This joint make a smart mufucka go ignant!", indeed.
Chose "Disco Heaven Freestyle": While we await a special Chose x RTD project, peep this new freestyle from the god, flexin' over some Lady Gaga. Been a minute since I've posted someone smashin' Gaga, especially something that is so disco-fueled. But Chose is a different breed - just check it. Pop your collar to this one!
RA's been representing the DMV for a minute, so I hope you lot haven't slept on her skills. This new album, brought to you by DJ Booth and 2DBz, showcases many different sides of her chi, and is light on the features, which is great. No need to muddy up the fire with a lot of other MCs - no diss to anyone out there. Anyways, hit the jump for the tracklist and download link.
M-Dot ft. Torae, Chino XL, B.A.M. & Lyric Jones "Be Easy" (prod. by DJ Jean Maron): M-Dot & Jean Maron's Run MPC (great title) was released today - and it's a banger. He's the 2nd single, which features an MC I don't hear much from, Chino XL. Proper lyrical exercise on this one. Support that; big up EMS!
KEYEL's Twizz has a project on the way entitled Summer Stars, which is due out Wednesday. They sent over 3 tracks "for bumping purposes", but these shits are too dope to keep to meself, so you enjoy these.
Newest/latest/most awaited from the Odd Future camp is Domo Genesis' Rolling Papers. It's about exactly what you'd think it is, and is produced by Tyler, The Creator & Left Brain. You know what you should do before, during and after rockin' to this one, so do so then do so.

Skyzoo & !llmind "Speakers On Blast": I already hit you with the cover and tracklist for Sky & Ill's Live From The Tape Deck album, which is due out on October 5th; now peep the lead-single from this album. Sick, sick track. Video on the way soon...
Justin Bieber ft. Kanye West & Raekwon "Runaway Love (Remix)": Hey, sue me. I'm not mad at this... at all. Let's break it down: 'Ye already jacked RZA's chipmunk Soul samples, why not completely jack "Wu-Tang Clan Ain't Nuttin' Ta Fuck Wit"? Why not jack a bunch of Wu lines? Why not have Raekwon come in and revisit the "Freek'n You (remix)"? Why not have Beibs do whatever he does over this? It's 2010 - in the era of mash-ups, this really isn't that insane... right?
I'll be rockin' this all week. Sue me. Shouts to Nah Right.
The Closers ft. Punchline, El Da Sensei, F.T., Phantasm & Nine "The Seventh Inning Stretch" (prod. by Thorotracks): Dot Got It kind of went in for this one, so I'll let the press release speak... "The Closers (Red Eye, Shabaam Sahdeeq,Thorotracks), Punchline (eMC), El Da Sensei (Artifacts), F.T. (Street Smartz), Phantasm (Cella Dwellas) & Nine. You read that right. All those highly respected MC's on one track. Dotgotit.com & The Closers proudly present The Seventh Inning Stretch. With it's distinct 90's feel, The Seventh Inning Stretch accomplishes what many artists have previously tried and failed at. A throwback vibe with 2010 lyrics and attitude. This track, already considered classic, takes seven heavily decorated MC's and just let's them go for a home run derby on the beat".
Following up on the awesome Mos Dub project, producer Max Tannone has hooked up a similar remix compilation with Mos' Black Star bredren, Talib Kweli, entitled Dub Kweli. You know how to properly enjoy this... so, light up ya spliff, throw this on, open the windows and let the good vibes hit you!

Good BIZ "I'm Ready" [clean | dirty]: Hah, nice interpretation of this recent Alicia Keys single. They flip Lauryn's hook from "Ready Or Not" atop Alicia's soothing jawn, expounding on how its their time. GDBZ remind me of that Fugees stee, so the use of Ms. Hill is dumb perfect. Word is a video for this one is on the way, so keep it locked, always.
From @DJDSharp: "Here is a mixtape that I did called "Missing Michael" to remember the legacy of the greatest entertainer that we will ever have in our life time, Michael Jackson. The mixtape is a collage of music mixing his music with Hip Hop, Jazz, Reggae, Salsa, Electro... You name it!".
This is the mixtape J.Period cooked up for Spike Lee's 2nd Annual "Brooklyn Loves MJ" event, which goes down today (August 29th) in Prospect Park. You know how J does - he is a blend/remix vet, so expect some special blends from classic MJ jams - it's called an "80 minute musical documentary". Hit the jump for the goods. Shouts to The Diggers Union.
New York, London, Paris, Tokyo, and Los Angeles. These five cities embraced the culture of Hip Hop as it spread across the world and inspired their own movements with the release of “Planet Rock". The top DJs from these respective cities have released mixes inspired by the Planet Rock collection.

Kanye West ft. Jay-Z, Rick Ross, Bon Iver & Nicki Minaj "Monster" [clean | dirty]: Perfectly described my Saturday morning yesterday afternoon. This is the first 'Ye track to appeal to me in a while, even if that odd intro threw me off. Was that Bon Iver in the intro? I'll never know. I also don't get why Rawse is on here, he doesn't seem to add to much... great to hear Kanye spitting. Hov's verse about niggas he made millionaires sounds like a shot at Beans without naming names. Minaj? Nah, you can keep that multi-personality bullshit, especially if you're going to keep harping on being a new artists who makes a bunch off your shows. This could've been a Ye/Jay jawn and I'd be fine, but it sounds like they have their own project on the way? All in all, I dig this the most out of the recent crop of Kanye leaks, but there's enough in here that I don't like/care for. Sue me.
MP3 via Nah Right, by way of @KanyeWest.
Deal - The Villain & Daniel Joseph "Home Invasion": Here's one of those cuts that I've had for a bit and I'm glad DTV dropped this story-driven jawn with Espee. Peep the twist in the ending. FREE DTV Day is September 1st - be on the lookout for that!

Enjoy your weekend. Drink one for ya boy!
It's Carnival season, so in the UK that means a shitload of all-mix weekends. allowed a couple of titans to mix-up some dubstep, Drum & Bass and more for this week's show, so enjoy the likes of Camo & Krooked, High Rankin and J Majik & Wickaman taking turns smashing her show down.
This week's show is super-varied, and features selections from Freestylers, DK and Ghostbeard. So much good music, get a glass of good red wine and rock to this over the weekend. And if you want these delivered directly, subscribe via iTunes, or hit the Solid Steel portion of Ninja Tune's site.
A few days ago, the audio version of The ILLZ' In Between Video Series dropped; being the nice Jersey nigga that he is, ILLZ has released the videos for every track on this project. How sick is that? Burn these to DVD, light something and sit back to some truly creative Hip-Hop.

The Strange Games… series which began in the summer of 1997, represents the blueprint for modern R&B and rap music. It joins the dots between 70s soul, 80s rare groove and 90s mass market hip hop. This compilation contains a wide variety of styles of tracks, from classic dance-floor fillers as well as lesser known delights. A more accessible diggers delight if you wish with an emphasis on quality track and not just songs worth having for a two second sample.
Conceived by BBE bossman Peter Adarkwah over 14 years ago, this fifth volume is mixed by longterm BBE stalwart, one of the world's best DJ Spinna. Featuring a much more worldly selection than its predecessors - tracks by the multi platinum selling War to Sylvia (Founder of Sugarhill Records) sit side by side with world music underground icons like C.K. Mann and Francisco Aguabella. This volume is the 5th in a series of compilations that appears to have the widest appeal of all BBE’s compilations and proves to be even better by the fact that there is a bonus mixed CD by the one and only DJ Spinna!

Che Grand "Man Myth Legend": Shouts to DJ Low Key for sending over a few cuts from his forthcoming mixtape with Che Grizzly, Fixtape 2: In It For The Drink Ticket, which drops next week and features cats like Von Pea, Donwill, Spec Boogie, Elucid and Uzoy, among others. Che spazzed on this Samiyam beat, sounds like futuristic excellence. It's like three years since the first Fixtape, and it sounds like this is an accurate representation of where Che's at in 2010... or beyond?
Bonus Beats Che Grand "Get On Your Job" (prod. by Boom Clap Bachelors)
And it's finally here! EMS-affiliate Mayhem drops his Retro Maytape, which is the 2nd Early May project. Features include EMS heads like Revalation & M-Dot, Praverb Tha Wyse, Sha Stimuli and more, with beats from The Naysayers, Domingo, The Other Guys and others. Something dope to ride out this Friday to, and its presented by some dope people, including AYCE, Bostonianz617 and RTD. Hit the jump!
Suave The Ape "The Way It Goes" (prod. by 14KT): Two weeks ago, we previewed Suave's "Early Morning", now we have the next leak from his COLOREDonly EP. This is some of the best shit The Ape is coming with - dude's straight mid-90's with his flow, and the instrumentals match his shit so perfectly. When I first got put onto dude about a year ago, I knew something was there... to hear his evolution? So necessary. Jersey in your face, all day.
The Two. Fifteens "Ragga Zapp.Mania": Prior to the release of Effective When Used After, The 215's have a FreEP on the way entitled "..." dropping next week, and this is the first single from it. It's got a uptempo dub vibe to it, but you could rhyme to this - it's part of the hybrid sound that's creeping into so many different genres, and really indicative of what these Left Coast beatsmiths are about. Plus, they utilized some of my favorite Busta Rhymes vocal snippets ever. Great way to kick off the weekend, seen!?!?

Dope project from Buff1 right here: "Ghosting is a project that gives listeners insight on the types of artists and music that inspires Buff1. Giving himself one week to write original material, Buff1 created this free project to be released into the blogosphere. Choosing songs that coincidentally had space for Buff1 to spit, none of the original songs have been edited.
Buff felt there were obvious similarities between the music on this project and one of his favorite Ghostface songs “Holla”; on which Ghost raps over the entire Delfonic’s song “La-La Means I Love You”. Ghosting also happens to be a game where one person follows behind another, mimicking their movements as closely as possible, without being detected.
The Ghostface homage, combined with Buff1 trying his best to follow in the footsteps of the artists who inspired him to write this project, made the title obvious. Lastly, don’t sleep on the exclusive bonus track “Better” produced by Slot-A." You should already know how powerful Ghostface Killah's aura is to the game, so to have a nigga the caliber of Buff1 going ham like this? Definite coppage. $Free.99. Do it!
Ayomari "Stay In My Heart": The boy Rogo from It's A Rap is working on a Summer Daze mixtape, and scored the full version of this sunray-drenched track from Ayomari. Expect cats like Stalley, brandUn DeShay, J. Ferb and more to be featured on this tape, which should be on the way...
I dropped a couple of tracks from this project last month, and the full mixtape dropped into my inbox overnight. Brian James is one of them niggas you can't judge when you hear where he comes from, and when you press play you won't be able to forget him. Features include Quiz, Art Barz, Curtiss King, Kraftie, Ghrimm and Chris Reed.

Video footage of Sirius XM's "Rap is Outta Control" Radio Show w/ DJ Eclipse & host Torae, featuring special guests Eternia , Bishop Lamont & A.G. Lil' chatting & lots of bars. 'Nuff Said.
Dula-Mite "Fight Music" (prod. by Dirty Urb1n): It's been a minute since I've heard from this Vegas spitter, but this track does just what it says on the label - sounds like some shit a boxer would come to the ring with. Those eerie counter synths and that heavy thump of a kick, knocking at you? Shit can be kind of overwhelming. Dula stays on his braggart shit, which works well for this one. Enjoy that.
Revalation ft. Phil Blount "The Come Up" (prod. by Sev Da Producer): Ill - I see Sev on twitter hyping his beats daily, so its good to hear that he linked with the EMS crew. No big story behind this - this is about a year old, with some chilly New England spitters going ham. Rev had a project that this didn't fit, so I'm glad he unleashed it to the masses. Big boy shit right here - throw this one on and TURN THE SYSTEM UP!
Syd Justice "Extra Credit": Syd finished this a few hours ago, and he beasted this Missy Elliott-produced jam from Jazmine Sullivan. I didn't notice on the last track of his I featured, but dude sounds like Kanye on here - not lyrically, but his voice. Not a diss or shots at all, just something I realized while vibing to this. Heavy shit nonetheless. Live From The Eastside coming soon!
Nametag ft. Quest M.C.O.D.Y & Buff1 "S.I.N" (prod. by Black Milk): Damn. This is a lethal combination of ill spitters right here. Quest is one of the nicest who is also one of the most slept on, and Name & Buff1 truly make this one strong, numerically, over this fresh Black Milk track. This is taken from Nametag's album, The Name Is Tag, which you can cop via his website. It's his first official after dropping a grip of freebies, so support the man! Shouts to Dub MD!
From Q & OC Supreme: "We are back in this bitch! So, we're constantly working on the formula to make this show better and successful. With that, we opted to scale back to a bi-weekly show, essentially giving you The Mad Bloggers Show twice a month. We'll continue to pack some amazing tracks into the 35-60 minute show. We thank you for your continued support! Enjoy Episode 18. CHEA!"

Dope new mix from Kitech, who's been putting in work with Dylan on the low. It's been a minute since Dylan has been putting out new Drum & Bass, but it looks like, with Kitech, he's found his sound and is churning out tunes. You will actually hear a track with Philly's own Zilla Rocca in this mix - trust me, that's just the TIP of the iceberg. I've heard dubs with Zilla, Curly Castro AND Elucid inna DnB meltdown. No word on where they're ending up, but when I find out, you'll find out. For now, enjoy this mix, which swims in the darker DnB seas.
Amor Jones "Dyin' (Nefarious! Remix)": Nice reworking of Amor's cut from the HiPNOTT Takeover Vol. 2 project that dropped not too long ago. Don't fuck around and not listen to the lyrics - Amor is a pretty ill MC, and goes off into some shit on this one. Be on the look for his next project...
previous Amor Jones The AmorJones.com EP
Chose "Bang Bang Bang Freestyle": Introducting Chose. Another cat that Nappy put me onto, this Philly MC is kind of sounding like someone you need to take notice of. We've got one verse here over a hype Mark Ronson track, but that champion sound, coupled with the Superman homage in the picture? Kinda feels like someone who is about to save the day. Lyrically, dude is murder - that's that Philly in him. He has a certain bounce, though - you could hear someone like this on the radio too, right? Be on the lookout for more from this dude, trust we.
Kyle Rapps ft. KRS-One & Homeboy Sandman "Love, Love" (prod. by Analogic): Say what? You're serious? Three truly talented cats expound on the idea of "love" over a serious instrumental. I love hearing KRS go for his, especially when he's paired up with some of the newer school MCs who can be equal parts dope and creative. Boom bap 2010, nahmean? Word is Kyle's Kev Brown-produced mixtape will be a re-make/reinterpretation of Edutainment!? Ill!
