Gena "Tatoo"
Gena "Tatoo": You know I throw a lot of music from the St. Louis area on RTD, and the homey Xilla passed me this track from East STL's own Gena, who is a real renaissance man who writes, produces and performs everything, including doing much of the live instrumentation on his album. "Tatoo" is an ill track that helps him take people on a journey based on the art on his body. Peep the stream below.

Common Presents Just Wright Mixtape: Vol.1
You think Common feels weird playing an NBA baller for one of the worst teams in the league, my NJ Nets? No worries, as he gets to feel on Queen Latifah (for good or ill) in Just Wright. This tape is full of some random cuts, from Bjork's "Possibly Maybe" to tracks from Bilal and Bobby Caldwell. Hit the jump for the download link and tracklist. Shouts to YK2 Daily.

Pepper Zoo Lion's Den Tee
If you know me, you know I love t-shirts. I like being able to make a statement without saying a word, or just wearing something that' s bold, fly and off the beaten path. The good folks at The Pepper Zoo hit me with an e-mail, and included some pics of three tees in their line, and this one stuck out to me. I'm no Blood, but that red is undeniable, and the LION sticks with the whole dub/reggae vibe that I feel emits out of my very being.Pepper Zoo is split into two lines: Black Pepper Zoo and Pink Pepper Zoo, for men and women. Under the jump, I have pics of two tees from each line. Funny thing is, I've been talking to Elucid about ODB today, and I mentioned how much I loved "Brooklyn Zoo", and Pepper Zoo looks at the urban jungle in the same light, with their brand being more of a "lifestyle" than just clothes; "The "zoo" is the lifestyle that has been created for those who have a rare style and flame for the future. The motto is to provide "pepper" to the predator of indifference and represent a simple element that can be a powerful factor in heightening lifestyle. A Rare Taste in a Common World. We're shakin' The Pepper Zoo on the streets. What's YOUR taste?". Hit the jump for more styles.

Dow Jonez ft. GemStones & Drake "Stay In Your Place": I featured a Vainglorious Basterds track on The Four Horsemen, and one half of the crew, Dow Jonez, sent over this jawn with GemStones and "Heartbreak" Drake. This one goes a bit hard, with a choice Biggie sample in the hook. Straight spittin' at niggas on this one. Don't sleep on this, or Dow's Change For A Dollar mixtape.EDIT Looks like this previously was a TreaZon track, from his The Re-Introduction mixtape? Shouts to @MikeWaxx for the heads up.

K-Beta Inglorious Beta
Inner Loop Records and DJ Booth linked up to bring this K-Beta album, Inlgorious Beta. What's that title mean? Well, let Beta explain it: "The word ‘inglorious’ refers to being in a state of utter shame and disgrace…I reflected on all of the trials and tribulations of my life, and searched for perspective through reading, meditating etc. It helped me understand that shame is [a] tool with which many build hiding places. Creating this album has helped me lift up the rug and expose all of the dirt underneath". Features include Diamond District, Illa Ghee and many more! Download link and tracklist after the jump.

Jonny Walker "What You Doin'"
Jonny Walker "What You Doin'" (prod. by seventyMHz): With Chemical Food right around the corner, here's the newest/latest leak. "For the latest leak off of his debut project, Chemical Food, Jonny Walker GOES IN on yet another SeventyMhz beat! The hook raises a simple, yet poignant question to all those who love to blog/tweet/rap about what everyone else is doing, but can't get their own acts together. Pure ether on the mic, this is Jonny's 'chemical' to the food for thought that he raises on the bulk of Chemical Food's remaining tracks. This is warrior music for those on the grind, keeping their minds as sharp as their swords. What YOU doing?!".Via Flawless Hustle.

This is the latest episode of the syndicated FuseBox Radio Broadcast with DJ Fusion & Jon Judah for the week of March 31, 2010 with some new and classic Hip-Hop & Soul Music, news and commentary.
This week's commentary this week focused on a range of things, touching base on topics such as the Black Farmers' settlement with the U.S. Department of Agriculture and why it seems that it's being delayed by the government, the recent Midwest militia arrests and it's mainstream TV coverage, Soul Music singer Erykah Badu's "Window Seat" music video controversy and some other things here and there.
During this week's show, we had a great interview with director Sebastian Doggart of the documentary American Faust: From Condi to Neo-Condi (http://www.AmericanFaust.com) about former U.S. Secretary of State Condolezza Rice.

Some of the topics we covered in this in depth interview included his inspiration & various struggles to do this documentary in a balanced way, personal aspects of Condoleezza Rice that don't come out too often (and said sacrifices made by her for power grabs), her wish washy history on Affirmative Action in the private and government sectors, her various roles in the government on BOTH sides of the fence as a Democrat & Republican, her role in the current "War On Terror" & it's long lasting effects (including the torturing of prisoners, etc.), where does he think in a just world Rice's situation should be in the future, politics of the film industry and more!
There is a brand new episode of the Black Agenda Report in this week's broadcast but no Direct EFX segment (did not receive before this week's show).
Feel free to check out some recent episodes of the syndicated FuseBox Radio Broadcast over at our official blog, BlackRadioIsBack.com - all of the shows are clean/radio friendly.

Mic Wilson "Chase My Dreams"
Mic Wilson "Chase My Dreams": Early March, I told you Square One: My Radio would be dropped on RTD in March 2010; that's come and gone, but with two tracks left to complete, Mic's got thangs covered. Follow the god as he chases after those dreams. How can you stay driven if you don't have a goal, yasmellme?previous Mic Wilson "Believe"

Sean J & Soy "The Heist"
Sean J & Soy "The Heist": Following up on A Tree By Itself, rapper Sean J and producer Soy have decided to form a duo, FTG (aka Flip Them Guys), seeing as they both are Filipino (Sean's 1/2) and have a chemistry going. This track is a great introduction to how their unit operates - love the back and forth, story-driven shit (ala Biggie's "Gimme The Loot"), and its well-executed. Expect the FTG album to drop later this year.

Joe Clark & Rickie Jacobs "Willy Wonka (BM Army Remix)"
Joe Clark & Rickie Jacobs "Willy Wonka (BM Army Remix)": Buck's been promoting his #BMArmy on twitter for a minute, and decided that today was the day to kick the promotion into high gear. The homies Joe Clark and Air Jacobs took that "Willy Wonka" instrumental to task on this one. Buck says the #BMArmy project is set to drop this summer, so be on the lookout from this conglomerate.

Kayo ft. Quake & CooLEra "Cigar Music (Remix)"
Kayo ft. Quake & CooLEra "Cigar Music (Remix)": @Ritchcraft sent this track over, and it has that mystical/magical flavor to it with the beat. I'm not too familiar with these three, although Quake's worked with cats like Nickel Nine, and these cats represent the Maritimes and St. Lucia. Dope shit; more please.

KEYEL "Girlz"
KEYEL "Girlz": In the third track in a row posted about the fairer sex, I've got an unreleased jawn from Ohio's KEYEL clique. They found inspiration in a Ta'raach beat and this gem was born. No word on what's going on with them in terms of releases, but keep this one on deck for the time being.
